Security & Privacy
Yearbooks hold students' names and photos. Here's how we look after them, and what stays in your school's hands.
Your school stays in control
- Your school decides which yearbooks are published, and whether each one is public or only for verified students of its batch.
- Only approved schools can publish. We confirm each school and the person applying before approval.
- Your school can make a yearbook private or take it offline at any time, and the change applies right away.
- Each school's records are kept separate from every other school's.
Student access
- A student number only finds a record. To open a private yearbook, the student also enters a one-time code sent to an email address the school has confirmed.
- Codes expire after a few minutes, work once, and lock after repeated wrong tries.
- Students only see the yearbooks of their own batch.
- We don't show whether a student number exists, so the sign-in page can't be used to look people up.
Yearbook files
- Uploaded PDFs are stored privately and checked before they can be published.
- Every page and file request is checked against the yearbook's access rules. Links expire and stop working when a yearbook becomes private or goes offline.
- The reader has no download or print button, and private yearbooks show a watermark. No website can fully stop screenshots or photos of a screen, so publish only what your school is comfortable sharing with its readers.
Records and accountability
- Important actions, like approvals, publishing, visibility changes and payments, are recorded in an activity log that can't be edited.
- We count how often yearbooks are opened as daily totals, not per student.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider; we don't store card or e-wallet details.
